Heart Dog Ranch is run solely on personal funds except for what donations may be received.  We are commited to help the dogs we can and ask for your consideration in assisting us with this effort!

PJ Smoof

Taken in to Animal Control where the vet determine the pellets in his face were "accidental" when someone tried to scare him off, the burn on his back to be from battery acid when he was under a car and disregarded entirely his scar on the back of his head that crossed over his ears causing the worst ear infections we have ever seen.  PJ is extremely heartwork positive and we are treating, as we do any HDR dog, with slow treatment [allows the dog to live every day enjoying themselves without concern for over activity or excitement].  PJ is a big, happy boy without grasp of his size (he has gotten fatter).  He does not like to hold still much which we are working through.

INDIA

India was on Lackland ISD campus injured with a broken shoulder, severe mange and starved.  She had surgery and has recovered and grown into a lovely girl.  She is happy in her forever home with other spotted dogs!

MERCY

Mercy was a cruelty case that will never get to court.  She is repaired in body and soul and doing fabulously!  Hate to say I have seen so many dogs in even worse shape.  Most healed and responded great!  Mercy is a dear girl with lots of love!

Noel was found at a local school being tormented and she is on her way to recovery!  Breed is anyone's guess and she continues to improve!

Cash donations go straight to food, medical and essential items.  Especially toward paying of a vet bill balance for amputations, hip & shoulder surgeries, and major vet efforts which always are far too frequent.
